Description
The anime girl was commisioned in 1999 for DEF CON 7 by a relatively unknown manga artist in Japan and has since become legendary amoung hackers and anime fans alike.  This poster design was composed by shadowvex on July 7th, 1999 and features keywords taken from the defcon.org's html and displayed as binary in the background.  The "DOC" (dis.org crew) tattoo on the girl's arm was approved at the time by Peter Shipley.  The japanese katakana text at the bottom translates to "DEFCON".
