"It's been 20 years since the release of this now cult classic DEF CON 11 mix. Released on a limited red-book spec'd compact disc with a full color front and back insert, Requiem for a Hacker set the bar for what would come after. After having my world turned upside-down I had many hours available to spend on this mix. Not only with track selection (which is always the highest importance) but with laying down a theme, flow, and furthermore post-production / audio mastering was given a lot of time for perfecting. I think this mix holds up great today as it did 20 years ago. It's not been available online ever so if you've never had the chance to listen, I hope you enjoy it and feel free to share wherever you please." -shadowvex
